Radical AI - UX/UI Intern 2024

KAI.AI is an AI-driven teaching assistant designed to improve educators' efficiency by integrating artificial intelligence technology. The recent website redesign focused on streamlining the new user registration and login process, as well as enhancing the user conversation homepage.

I worked as a UX/UI design intern at Radical AI, a tech company developing the KAI.AI platform. My primary role was to collaborate with the product design team to update the platform.

Through user research and testing, we successfully simplified the existing registration and login process and optimized the user homepage. Additionally, a new design system was introduced to enhance the visual consistency and overall user experience of the website.

Fresh+ is a product system, innovating the ways of preserving and preparing fresh food, it offers a new experience in fresh food management for young people.

Fresh + is my solo graduation project during my bachelor. The project was supported by International Health Design Joint Lab and Food science Lab at Jiangnan University. I consider it as the innovative user-centric solutions with the fusion of science, technology and design.

The develop of Fresh+ APP, wich sucessfully showcased the scientific and efficient guidance for food management has won the +86 Food Design Award in 2023.

Incomplete Portrait blends a situational narrative with AI-driven gameplay. Participants act as co-creators, observing their AI avatar's awakening and evolution through their input.

This project, which served as my master’s graduation project at UCL Bartlett, was developed in collaboration with an engineer. The integration of conversational AI and embodied AI avatars explores new directions for generative AI applications and expands the possibilities for human-AI interaction.

The project has been showcased at several international exhibitions and received positive feedback from the academic community.

Infra-reality is an AI-driven program that innovatively transforms text and image using ChatGPT. The embodied agent recognizes human voices and detects faces, combining these inputs to generate images and conversations.

As a UX researcher and designer in the Interactive Architecture Lab at UCL Bartlett, this project served as a practical application of my research on dynamic AI agent-user interaction systems.

The system model explores new applications of high-tech solutions in design projects. In 2023, the program was showcased at several international exhibitions.

IKEA Dream Home is a brand marketing project featuring digital design sets and creative videos aimed at inspiring young families to create their dream homes with IKEA.

Every sticker placed represents the effort put into chasing dreams.  The process of continuously purchasing new home furnishings and completing the Dream Card collage is also IKEA's way of increasing the sales of various home furnishing series through this activity.
